The Full Lumen

 
 

A West Country Class locomotive currently working the Watercress Line - Mid Hants Railway, Wadebridge was designed by O V S Bulleid, Chief Mechanical Engineer for the Southern Railway. It was built at Brighton in 1945 and is one of the first batch of "West Country" class 4-6-2 mixed traffic locomotives. It is the oldest surviving "West Country" class locomotive.
