The Full Lumen

Part of a Benedictine priory founded in 1085, greatly developed in 1440-1500, surrendered to Henry VIII in 1539, it was bought for £20 from the crown by the inhabitants of Great Malvern (all 150 families at that time) to be their parish church. “Restored” by the Victorians in 1860 this grand old church survives to this day in its role as a parish church. It is stunningly beautiful.
